Ashlee’s world has revolved around sports since she was young. Starting with gymnastics, tee-ball, and soccer then slowly moving towards softball and later lacrosse. She has always enjoyed sports and fitness, incorporating activity into everything she did. This passion for fitness grew even more when Ashlee turned to the gym as an outlet to manage stress and battle mental health challenges in high school. This gave her the spark to move and pursue a degree in Exercise Science at North Carolina Wesleyan College, allowing her to learn as much as she could about a topic she already enjoyed. Through college, she played lacrosse and incorporated what she had been learning into her own training regimen. While in college, she also worked at the gym on campus helping run the intramurals program. Helping guide and encourage others, build confidence in the gym, and be surrounded by like minded individuals all day. Toward the end of college, Ashlee spent a year as the goalie coach for the lacrosse team and helped build efficient workouts. She was also working at the YMCA and in charge of their coach approach program. When she moved to Wilmington, she participated in an internship with UNCW strength and conditioning thinking working with athletes was what she wanted. It wasn’t until a few years later when she returned back to personal training (after being in the service industry for years) that she realized she truly enjoyed working with clients one on one so much more. Ashlee’s goal is to make fitness easy, accessible, and understandable for all by helping fit exercise into her clients busy schedule so they can live a happy, pain free life. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach to watch the sunrise, walking dogs, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
